Hallo miteinander
So nun die Fragen aller Fragen. 
Rund oder Eckig
Das Runde muß ins Eckige, oder wie ich sage, ich geh ins Bett 
Spaß beiseite. Noch haben wir die Möglichkeit zu entscheiden, ob eine runde Mikrofonbuchse eingebaut oder ob die RJ45-Buchse verwendet wird.
Die Bestellung werde ich wahrschein ab Mittwoch fix machen. Aber vorher teile ich euch noch die Kosten mit.

Moin,
da ich noch ein FT8900 habe und dafür zusätzlich zum ausgelieferten MH42 Mikrofon auch das MH48 besitze, wäre ich fürs eckige 
gruß und noch einen schönen Sonntag
ps das ist doch eine RJ12 und keine RJ45 oder?

Hallo miteinander 
hier mal die geplante Rückseite des Gehäuses mit den Anschlüssen.
Auf der Rückseite sind die Anschlüsse alle Anschlüsse zu finden, auch zwei der Anschlüsse von der Frontseite wurden auf die Rückseite verlegt.
und die Befestigungsseite:

Langsam nimmt das Gehäuse das finale Aussehen an.. 
Habe heute noch ein neues Angebot für das Gehäuse eingeholt. Mal sehen, wie wir da preislich liegen.

Bezüglich des Gehäusese habe ich keine soo guten Nachrichten.
1. die von mir bevorzugten Profile für das Gehäuse will der Hersteller nicht liefern, da er diese Teile nur in Verbindung mit einer
Bestellung von Frästeilen verbindet. 
Deshalb habe ich einen anderen Hersteller gesucht und gefunden, der auch liefert. Nur müssen dazu ein paar Änderungen an
den Aluplatten gemacht werden. Bis Montag habe ich die Änderungen fertig.
2. Der Alupreis ist mittlerweile durch die Decke gegangen. für 1qm 2,5mm eloxiertes Alublech muß derzeit mehr als das Doppelte
als vor 1 Monat gezahlt werden. Damit ist zur Zeit auch die Preiskalkulation hinfällig.
Ich bin aber mit der kleinen Firma in Kontakt, damit wir das Gehäuse zu einem vernüftigen Preis bekommen können
Wenn bei mir die bestellten Alubleche eintreffen, leite ich sie an die Firma weiter, um zu sehen, ob mit eigenem Material
vernünftiges Arbeiten möglich ist.
Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden.

Hallo 
wie schaut es denn mit dem Gehäuse?
das PA Board hab ich bis auf zwei fehlenden Kondensatoren quasi fertig.
Ich hab nur noch nicht die Verstärker MOSFETs verbaut, da ich diese gleich an Gehäuse zwecks Kühlung anpassen wollte.

nach langer Abstinenz bin ich wieder aktiv. 
Während dieser Zeit war ich nicht ganz untätig gewesen.
Der Wolf-Trx hat nun ein "neues Zuhause" bekommen. Ist zwar noch nicht ganz vollständig. Es fehlt noch der Deckel zu dem Gehäuse (Aussparungen für Lautsprecher und Lüftungsschlitze) und die Platine für die div.
Anschlüsse an der Rückseite.

This is my first post on your forum, so I apologize in advance for any misspellings or other language deficiencies.
English is not my natural language.
But let's get to the point ...
First of all - congratulations on the progress in building the Wolf.
I am at the stage of assembling the RF-UNIT-BIG-RU4PN_rev5.1 board.
The digital part works, I can listen to the bands on it.
I do not hide that this is due to your "batches" to the processor and FPGA.
Now I can see a nicely made front and back panel ...
Therefore, a question for Norbert DC4YN - can such a set be ordered / purchased?

The question - will the plate developed by colleagues from Spain, and being in the sources on Github, fit the back plate?

Witaj Krzysztofie,
Przede wszystkim witamy w wątku o wilku.
Gratulujemy projektu tablic i ich dotychczasowej funkcjonalności.
Mam już Wilka działającego na starej płycie RF-Big.
Niestety, w tej wersji nie ma filtra BPF, a filtr LPF też nie jest najlepszy.
W tej chwili buduję RF-Big od RU4PN i wciąż czekam na odpowiednie przekaźniki i kondensatory.
Gdy oglądałem dzisiaj Rev5 od RU4PN, to jego wymiary odpowiadają wymiarom RF-Big Rev2.
Dostosowałem jednak tylną stronę (złącza antenowe) obudowy do płytki Rev 5 i zaopatrzyłem ją w trzy dodatkowe śruby mocujące.
Nie prowadzę sprzedaży zestawów obudów. Na forum napisałem, że opublikuję pliki DXF obudowy, ale tylko do celów prywatnych, a nie komercyjnych.
Ponadto, ze względu na dość wysokie ceny anodowanego aluminium, cena obudowy stała się bardzo wysoka, a zatem obudowa również będzie bardzo droga.
Obecnie trzeba jeszcze dokonać kilku drobnych poprawek, aby wszystko pasowało w 100%. Wtedy nic nie powinno stanąć na przeszkodzie uwolnieniu.
Niektóre z moich części zostały wyfrezowane przez firmę CNC niedaleko Bernsdorfu, a kilka przez firmę Schäfer. Profile pochodzą również od firmy Schäfer.

first of all welcome here in the Wolf thread.
Congratulations on the previous design of the boards and their function.
For me, the Wolf is also already running with the old RF-Big board.
Unfortunately the BPF is missing on this version and the LPF is not the best either.
At the moment I'm building the RF-Big from RU4PN and still waiting for the appropriate relays and capacitors.
The way I looked at the Rev5 from RU4PN today, it matches the dimensions of the RF-Big Rev2.
However, I have adapted the rear (antenna connections) of the housing to the Rev 5 board and provided three additional mounting bolts.
I do not sell enclosure kits. In the forum I wrote that I will publish the DXF files for the case, but only for private and not for commercial purposes.
Also due to the rather high prices for anodized aluminum, the price for the case has become very high and thus the case will be very expensive as well.
At the moment a few small adjustments are still necessary so that everything fits 100%. Then nothing should stand in the way of the release.
Some of my parts were milled by a CNC company near Bernsdorf and some parts were milled by Schäfer. The profiles also come from Schäfer.

Unfortunately, I know the situation with the materials on the market ...
In my circle of friends, I have people who have the possibility of laser cutting and engraving, including aluminum or stainless steel (in limited thicknesses).
So files for "print" will be OK.
Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to create such files.
I have tried editing the files that are in the project's repository - with no particular results.
I'm talking about the files released by EA7GIB. For my purposes, I was just planning to change the buttons and the microphone jack to the "standard" round one.
RJ-45 in this role does not appeal to me. I have a bad experience with Yaesu and Motorola with this type of microphone jack, which I use practically on a daily basis, including at work.
Perhaps because I'm just an electrician ...
I'm not giving up, but I will keep trying.
As longitudinal profiles, I plan to use MakerBeam 10x10 or 10x20 series profiles.
The current, currently under construction, version of the Wolf is to be a stationary version.
I even consider here the option of throwing 3.3V, 5V and 12V converters and replacing them with a good power supply from a 1U server, which is on the shelf.
I also have materials for the QRP ++ mobile / portable version.
If my health and time permit, I will continue my classes with Wolf.
I bought relays (G6S-2 12V) for my board at reichelt.de

In meinem Freundeskreis habe ich Leute, die die Möglichkeit des Laserschneidens und -gravierens haben, einschließlich Aluminium oder Edelstahl (in begrenzten Stärken).
Dateien für "Drucken" sind also in Ordnung.
Leider habe ich nicht die Möglichkeit, solche Dateien zu erstellen.
Ich habe versucht, die Dateien im Repository des Projekts zu bearbeiten - ohne besondere Ergebnisse.
Ich spreche von den Dateien, die von EA7GIB veröffentlicht wurden.
Für meine Zwecke hatte ich nur vor, die Tasten und die Mikrofonbuchse auf die "normale" runde zu ändern. RJ-45 in dieser Rolle spricht mich nicht an.
Ich habe schlechte Erfahrungen mit Yaesu und Motorola mit dieser Art von Mikrofonbuchsen gemacht, die ich praktisch täglich benutze, auch auf der Arbeit.
Vielleicht, weil ich nur ein einfacher Elektriker bin...
Ich gebe nicht auf, aber ich werde es weiter versuchen.

what do you have in mind for the diameter of the round buttons (all buttons or just the 10 buttons below the display) and what diameter should the microphone jack be? 
Should the other two sockets (PTT and Line In/Out) also be placed on the front panel?

Thanks again for your reply and, above all, for your interest.
At the moment I have round buttons with a diameter of 6.02 mm - a choice of 7 colors.
However, I am thinking of using rectangular buttons or combinations.
A choice of microphone connector 11.76 or 15.75 mm in diameter - the larger one looks more stable and solid and it will probably be used.
At the moment, I have confirmed the possibility of laser cutting 2 or 2.5 mm aluminum sheet - it is possible.
On an allodinated surface, it is also possible to make descriptions by laser engraving - it sounds like a fairy tale to me .
The cutting or engraving service itself is not expensive.
On the other hand, the price of aluminum has skyrocketed  .
I found and got used to a program that reads gerber files and allows you to edit them.
Immediately a surprise - a quick measurement of the faceplate that I have assembled and the drawings I have (gerber files from EA7GIB) gave discrepancies in the extreme case of approx. 2.6 mm in the position of the hole !!
I will have to measure everything accurately and confirm the positions of the holes.
I will also do the back plate in a different concept ...
N-type antenna sockets, I / O board according to EA7GIB design and outside PA heat sink - solid, something like A5723C or A5724C or maybe A6023C..
So, the antenna sockets will be closer to the side edge.
When I draw it, I will show it.
At the moment, a concept was born as shown in the attached drawing ...

Die Handwerkerferien stehen bevor...Ich könnte am Wolf weitermachen. Ich würde gerne die Front-Unit schoneinmal verpacken - gibt es schon Dateien für den Frontplattendesigner für die Frontplatte ?
