Hallo Reto,

Thomas,
what about the software for Odyssey II? Which one is prefered?
For the HiQSDR i use ZEUS (Windows only) and Power SDR. I see on the developer page https://www.hfrelectronics.com/en/zeus-radio/ that Odyssey is supported but nothing about the II version.

guter Einwand Andreas!

https://www.amateurfunk-sulingen.de/forum/index.php?board=24;action=display;threadid=1569;start=msg24349#msg24349

I saw in the Russian forum that Zeus Radio also works with the Odyssey II.
But Zeus is not free!
There is a simple version - only RX (€25) and an extended version including TX (€75).
Windows only, yes!

There is still Quisk by James Ahlstrom, also for Linux (also Raspberry PI -> my favorite!)

Hallo zusammen,

Gruss
Reto

Is this PCB the result of Sprintlayout? I have not seen this issues because I never would publish such a uncomplete design...

Hi

Andreas, does that mean you are already finishing PCB RF for UI OVI40 ?!!!

Someone has a PCB link to David's project (.lay) I will correct it and publish it here. That nobody would criticize the work of the person who publishes it for free.

Hi Artur
you'll find the PCB on David's GitHub.

Look:
https://github.com/Dfinitski/Odyssey-2_2017_TRX/blob/master/Odyssey2_29_05_18_PCB.zip

Werner,
the HiQSDR mini from David is a very good thing, we have here the FPGA firmware which works up to 60MHz alowing 2 pair of simultaneous receivers at one time, each pair can work on same or different band. All of this using single ADS6145 (the ADC), really worth of making and a lot of easier to solder and cheaper than Odyssey   The noise floor of this thing is about -142dBm.
