Hallo Andreas,
Forumsstandard ist ja dass maximal 15 Postings eines Threads pro Seite dargestellt werden.
Ich kenne es aus vielen Foren so, dass der registrierte User diese Anzahl variieren kann, also 15, 25, 35, 50 zum Beispiel und in seinem Profil speichern kann.
Ich finde die Zahl 15 bei lange Threads bisweilen etwas gering und es behindert den Lesefluss oder auch das Aufsuchen einer Textpassage in einem ellenlangen Thread.
Frage: kann man das ggf. ändern und wenn ja, auf die To-do-Liste setzen?
Aus der Praxis heraus würde ich sagen dass eigentlich 3 Werte zur Auswahl ausreichen.
Wie denkst Du darüber?

Hallo Thomas,
kann man in der jetzigen Version nur als Admin "für alle" ändern. Ein höherer Wert würde die Nutzbarkeit auf Smartphones und Tablets zunichte machen. Eine "Einstellbarkeit" kann ich auf die 2to-Liste setzen.

Es geht vor Allem um die Ladezeiten bei schlechterer Funkanbindung - nicht um die Bildschirmgröße. Sehr oft habe ich 5 Balken und "LTE" prangt im Display - aber ich kann trotzdem jedes Byte per Handschlag begrüßen (auch in Corona-Zeiten ;D)...

Meine derzeitige Priorität liegt bei "höheren Auflösungen für Bilder" - weil das zu Dokumentationszwecken manchmal unabdingbar ist. Und wenn dann in einem Thread gleich mehrere davon auftauchen macht es die Seiten bei langsamer Anbindung unbenutzbar.

Guys,
speaking about pictures - I miss the possibility to add more than one picture per post and to remove old picture/file from server. The last option is useful if you want to remove bug in the picture or upload a file (pdf) with updated data. Only a wishes - nothing urgent :) |

Jumping directly to the last post is not implemented yet - I have put it on the 2do list.
Possibility of adding more than one pic is problematic because of the huge data amount I already have for this non-commercial project.
And possibility of deleting attachments must leaded by the possibility of giving owners to them - I am nearly sure that is not implemented and difficult to implement if many attachments are already existing which do not own anyone...

ok, I understand - the server space is precious - I know that. I have own hosting service and will follow the tip from Thomas, placing the important pictures on my site and linking it here, of course not a problem. Thanks for the tip Thomas. |
