Title: SW4STM32
Post by: sparkienl on 18. March 2021, 22:24:41

Hi All
I used the SW4STM32 imported into STM32CubeIDE to compile firmware for the mvhf, it was not very
succesfull because it made only the fw for the f4-with 1024 eprom.
I can't find many information over this subject here, what I want to do is to make a fw for all builds, are there more working with this SW4STM32 methode? ;D

You do not need Cube for compiling firmware. All libraries are perfectly prepared.

Simplest way is to build on Linux console using Makefile. Or if you want to use graphical interface you can use Eclipse. I by myself always build on console. Everything can be set via parameters or environment variables.

Hi,
the SW4STM part has been contributed by Chris, M0NKA. As he is mostly focused on STM32F4, it may be correct (or not) to assume that only the single configuration works.

As Andreas wrote, use the Eclipse Embedded CDT to build all variants of the UHSDR. Or go for the Makefile approach.

However, if you are seriously interested in programming, go for Eclipse as it makes your life much easier when trying to work with this amount of code.

#Andreas, Danilo

I contacted Chris already, and he made it for one build only.

Thanks for Your advice to go on with eclipse.

I,m going to do some reading and dive into it.
