Hi,

Hi Peter,
you're right. See github issue link in my previous post. Currently fixing it...

Hi,
the fixup waits for merge. Please try D2.9.22 tommorow. If for some reason DSP modes are not available, please turn it on by long press (see wiki Operating Manual for description).

Hi,
release D2.9.46 contains 3 new virtual keyboards:

1. Band selection:
accessible by touching most significant digits of frequency display (more on left from first three zeroes).
For 480x320 there are more fields (bands) because we have more space here. Also, with large Frequency Set button
you have:
2. Direct frequency set with automatic band selection, if new frequency fits in band. If not it will use current selected band. Some hints:
Long press the back space >> button clears display, BAND change button must be pressed to allow current band leave, OK sets the freq.
3. Modulation selection (for 480x320 only): simple and fast modulation mode by touching the modified modulation box. Long press on key disables/enables the modulation (or group), it works same like the Enable/Disable items in config menu.

Summary: sorry folks, 320x240 lcd has very limited space and such improvements will not fit. We have new 480x320 lcd which will be prioritised until new better will be available :)

Have fun :D

Edit: Wiki modification will follow. I think I have to divide the help and create new page with touchscreen functions only, what do you think?

Great work, Slawek, it's looking coooool !
Unbelieveable, what a software developer can do with this tiny transceiver. It's magic....

Why not (a link from one page to the other can do wonders ;) )

Hi Slawek,

after a long pause I updated my software today and I saw your touch buttons and the virtual keypad for the first time.

That is really awesome, thank you very much for that hard work!!

Especially the direct frequency entry is highly appreciated!

Have not yet fully understood all the nice features you built in, it stays interesting ;-).

Keep on the good work,

Hi Frank,
thanks, I'm guilty because of lack of wiki for all this, the info is here in this thread only. I will prepare wiki in a few days, now I'm little busy working with 2...4GHz stuff and 800x480 driver for OVI40. I have some concepts about filter selection keypad, but as yet I do not see it better useable than we have today with E3 knob...

Hi Slawek,

take your time!

If I can be of any help in preparing Wiki texts, please let me know and I will write up something, which you can then use and correct, if you want.

As you know, I am working on fully free adjustable filters for the OVI40 at the moment, so I am not sure how useful a button approach for those filters would be. But for F4 users, a button approach could be useful (however it could turn out, that freely adjustable filters could also be implemented on the F4, but that is totally unsure at the moment). But you are right, the encoder approach implemented at the moment is already really nice and useful.

Also I cannot promise any time frame for the new filter implementations due to my time restrictions ;-).
