i40 white screen nach FW2.7.22

@Andreas,
nach 2-maligen Flashen der FW von heute (2.7.22) jeweils nach dem Einschalten - "White Screen":
Rückführen auf 2.7.21 klappte jeweils problemlos, danach Funktion i. O.
flashen via Stick.
Schau bitte mal nach
vy 73 aus Erfurt

Hello Michael,
Just loaded 2.7.22 using STLink. No problems here i40 starting up correctly.

Hallo Michael und andere,
falls es da Probleme gibt, einfach auf 2.7.21 zurück gehen und warten. Heute abend werfe ich dann meinen OVI40 mit dem 3.2 Display an und schaue. Vorher wird da vermutlich nichts passieren, und mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit ist eine meiner Änderungen schuld.

Just flashed the .22 onto ver. 1.7 UI with 3.2" lcd (source Waveshare) and switches it off and on several times. No issues with the screen !
Only thing i oberserved, as Thomas mentioned too, is the more "nervous" spectrum and noise display (I40 only) over the last 5 releases.

Only thing i oberserved, as Thomas mentioned too, is the more "nervous" spectrum and noise display (I40 only) over the last 5 releases.

The more nervous one comes from the fact that you now actually control the frame rate quite accurately (up to the point where it cannot go faster, more visible with the waterfall). Before that you controlled the duration of the pause between each of the 5 calculation steps. And with that, the meaning of the speed factor changed. In theory, same speed setting on OVI40 and mcHF should now result in the same speed (that works for lower speeds quite well). However, the mcHF of course looses once we come to the performance limits. BTW, updates per second = 30/speed.

Peter,
I also checked the "scope speed" in 2.7.22 . The speed can be adjusted again via the menu. I don't know whether the menu value vs. speed is the same as in the older versions.

die D2.7.22 läuft bei mir und ich habe das 3,2" Display dran.

den UHSDR OV i40 einmal quer durch Erfurt "gekarrt" (zum OV-Nachmittag), ujnd er läuft auch mit der FE 2.7.22.
Einzige Änderung zu heute Vormittag: anderes Netzteil zur Stromversorgung, aber gleichfalls stabile Steckverbindungen.
Somit aus meiner Sicht: keine Arbeit für die SW-Entwickler
vy 73 aus Erfurt und noch einen schönen Abend

Warten wir mal auf weitere Feedbacks. Von gestern bis heute sind einige Änderungen in der Speicherverwaltung für den mcHF und das 3.5" LCD für den mcHF verändert worden. Für den OVI40 eigentlich nicht...
