Ich habe dieses File nun auch auf dem F7 getestet. Dasselbe Problem. Also kommt es nicht darauf an ob F7 oder H7. Scheint bei beiden Prozessoren das gleiche zu bewirken und der verursachende Parameter muss im Config File gespeichert sein.

Das teste ich gleich mal....
Was für eine Betriebsart wurde im Fehlerfall bei Dir oben im blauen Feld angezeigt?
Hat der Vorschlag vom Slawek funktioniert? (länger touchen?)

Hallo Reto,
Ich konnte den Fehler wieder reproduzieren. Aber ich kann noch nicht sagen warum.
Hier ein Backup der Settings. Ich habe die mal zurück in den i40 geladen, danach konnten die DSP Funktionen nicht mehr aktiviert werden.
Als ich ein funktionierendes Backup zurückgelesen habe hats wieder funktioniert.
Ich weiss nicht, wie gut Ihr Software Spezialisten anhand eines Config Files vielleicht etwas rausfinden könnt.

Können wir. Ich schreibs auf Englisch, damit Slawek es leichter hat:
The issue is found in entry 408, referring to the user enabled/disabled DSP mode selection. The value 1 indicates that only
mode 0 (aka DSP OFF) is valid. Since this mask is honored both by the virtual keyboard AND the G2 button, you can switch DSP, but only from DSP OFF to the next available DSP mode which is --- DSP OFF. This gives you the impression of DSP being broken.
If you have a working touchscreen, you can fix this easily, just do a long (!) press on the DSP Modes you wish to activate and they will be reenabled. Just as Slawek suggested. This selection will be saved when powering down.
The issue is caused by the init code https://github.com/df8oe/UHSDR/blob/active-devel/mchf-eclipse/src/uhsdr_main.c#L534 . This code makes sure that at least one mode (DSP OFF) is available.
So if the selection of user enabled dsp modes for whatever reason is empty, it adds only DSP OFF. This is what you had.
How exactly this can happen, I am not sure. The only reason, why at this point the list can be empty, is that the reading of the configuration storage did not happen at least once. Default for the list is to include all DSP modes.
@Slawek: During the analysis of this issue I made a few small changes to the DSP selection code and also added some comments in your code to help me understand what goes on. So please, if you consider looking into this, wait for my pull request.

But I think Danilo found the issue.
