Title: Use a different IQ source for testing UIboard
Post by: pe0f on 17. February 2018, 14:32:49
Hello,
I want to test my UI board receiver side with IQ signals Is it possible to take IQ from a different receiver to test the board ? I want to take the IQ output from my KX3 and feed this to the UI OVI board What are the pitfalls and can this work ?

Hi Frans,
evey I/Q audio stream should work. Maybe you have to reduce levels (of course symmetrical). But if levels are <3V nothing will be damaged and you can test it out...

Hallo Andreas
I have tried and i did see some data in the waterfall display (used IQ from the PX3/KX3) Then the display started flashing en turned white
If i connect it i only see a white screen ;-( I can get in the mode to connect is a a STM in order to reload the boot loader or firmware
It looks like the processors is bricked clock and power i measure are normal as before
Any Tips ?

Hallo Andreas,
I have not mounted them because i want to make sure they where at the right hight if you fit in the housing In the mean time i have tried with the ilink interface and the cpu is still intact
In the next few days i will try to reload bootloader and firmware via the I link interface

Would help if you have step by step procedure |

Hi Frans,
yes. 0x8000000 is correct for the bootloader. Firmware has to be loaded at 0x80010000

Hi Frans,
there is no "close" function. The threadstarter can edit his first post and add a [solved] to the front of the topic - that is all which is neccessary.
