"complete soldered" are under construction now. I hope I can finish batch 1 until end of February.

Ich löte an zwei bis drei Tagen die Woche 6 Stunden, mehr erlaubt weder mein Beruf als meine Familie...
Und die nächsten Batches werden definitiv erstmal NICHT als "fertig gelötete Exemplare" angeboten ::)
Wenn Du auf Bausatz umsteigen möchtest: Kann umgehend verschickt werden.

Any update on OVI40 full kit assembly? Mine should be Batch 1, order #1512453010, placed on 5 December 2017.
I've been too busy even for my poor mcHF, no time this year to fiddle with the bands or the code. But there is light at the end of the tunnel! I'm hoping to get started on OVI40 this summer -- and wondering if the delay is long enough that the RF board alpha would become available at the same time, or if I should give up on that and order an mcHF v0.6 RF board.

selay is only on assembled boards because I must all assemble "by myself by hands". RF board will hopefully be available as release products in 2...3 months.

for me, the Chinese are soldering PCBs from TRX SParrow.
I only assemble Amidony coils.
This facilitates the production of a very!
There is less work.
The case from TRX SParrow is made by my CNC machine. |

my manufacturer regretted due to the amount of PCBs. He starts at 500 PCBs - too much for me. Maybe (and hopefully) there will be much more sold - but I do not have the money to make this work. Do you have manufacturer who starts at 50 PCBs (@ a reasonable price)??

I will ask (monday) about the production of 50 pieces Chinese factory.
If you do not have money, just order 100pcs.
Let them mount only resistors and capacitors.
These are cheap things and then the work is smaller.

Only populating SMD components is absolutely normal 8).
I have asked many factories which are offering component placement but all start at some hundred pieces. I am sure that will come up when project is in "release state" but not now...

It will be ready to buy Ebay and Aliexpress.

I would be careful with Chinese assembly houses. Last year, I asked for a quote at one house and a couple of weeks later the product appeared on AliExpress.
You should check out S&T Partner Elektronik (http://www.1a-baugruppen.de/) - they're bases in Germany, extremely friendly, not expensive, do know Amateur radio and are more happy with small batches than with large ones. IMHO, they're excellent.

es wird keinen "Batch2" mahr geben. Vielmehr wird es - wenn die RF-Geschichten fertig sind - nahtlos in einen "normalen Bestellstatus" übergehen.
Alle, die nach dem Abschluss von Batch1 bestellt haben, werden bevorrangigt bearbeitet, wenn "es richtig losgeht".
Ich bin aktuell in der Finalen Phase der Schaltungs- und PCB Erstellungen des RF-Teils. Wenn dieser abgeschlossen ist, wird es weitergehen.
Da ich das alles in meiner Freizeit mache, versteht bitte, dass das alles seine Zeit braucht. Ich mache kein Copy&Paste - es sind echte Neuentwicklungen.
