new build 6.3
Won't see USB drive for firmware update.
data lines check OK, 5v and ground ok.
Firmware loads fine with Dfu, radio works OK
Just can't use UBS port.
Thoughts??

Hi Chuck,
there are only three possibilities:
1) bad connections (lines cut *OR* shorted somewhere)
2) MCU damaged
3) USB drive defective or incompatible

Can't be #3
no need for driver to see USB Stick.
So must be 1 or 2.
Will try another MCU next.

Hi Chuck,
your conclusion does not match...
There is a big difference between simple USB Host implementation in embedded systems and implementation in operating systems kernel. You can only check if you test drive using another mcHF. If it works there ==> you have 100% verified it is not 3)

Sorry Andreas, I did not read your #3 correctly.
I thought it said driver not drive hi hi.
What is the meaning of red and green flashing when trying to load firmware from USB drive ??

Without any text messages?
That means you do not have DF8OE bootloader but MONKA bootloader wi#hich is only compatible to MONKA Windows update sofrtware.
