Hello, I would ask Andy where is the problem that you need to configure the SPI?
First of all the 122.88 MHz clock must corectly reach the ADC. Adc gives clock to FPGA and all internal state machines works based on this clock. So after proper configuration of FPGA (someone may call it "boot up") you will have the I2S signals on the output IDC connector. The default configuration is 48kHz and this frequency you should have on the Word clock pin (WS). This is starting point and without this any communication at SPI will not bring any effect.
The only uncertain thing is the frequency of the receiver but at this stage it is not important.
Edit: the 10MHz external input is not necessary. It is only for stabilize the frequency of main clock (122.88MHz) by FLL. May be left unconnected.

4 Byte Datenwort
55.000.000 Hz ist wie oben zu sehen in Hex 03473BC0
03 47 3B C0
