Title: Caution on Mouser orders
Post by: SP9BSL on 20. September 2019, 07:29:43

Hello,
probably happened many times to everyone, but please be cautioned using search for components in Mouser (other resellers too). The result: filter freq has been up shifted by 8MHz... My fault - didn't tested before soldering. Measured with VNA: L=219 nH.
Anyway, the warm greetings were sent to Mouser ;)

Hi Thomas,
yes - exactly... Fortunately samples from Coilcraft are on the way since 2 days, hope in Monday I will continue... So far RFsim simulation works great - I say this because I had some doubts yesterday ;D

Hi Artur,
and same like with my order the Manufacturer Part Number is correct, only the description is wrong but the search engine on mouser.com uses it and finds wrong parts...

Hi

I buy a lot of electronic parts.
I do not recommend TME.
1) There is no free shipping
2) Now they are selling parts in large, shattering paper big bags. (EU directive)
Big paper bags - small parts!
In a month the paper bags will be full of holes and parts will be lost.

Hi,
TME is a good company I do recommend them. In my company we order a lot of elements almost every day (shipping free) and this never happened. Maybe they do it for low budget and ESD insensitive devices. I asked people in our production warehouse - never heard of this, it would be not acceptable by our delivery quality control! Can you point on this EU directive?

Hi Artur,
just call and tell them you don't want paper bags, they will send you as before.
For clarity: not EU regulation but simple care of environment...
