Error report / Fehlerberichte Material OVI40 UI V1.8

ich wollte hier für den Andreas eine Liste mit den aufgefallenen "Fehlern" bei der Materialzusammenstellung bzw. Abweichungen zur BOM starten.
Bitte kurz aufschreiben was falsch ist - damit es maximal übersichtlich bleibt sollten wir mögliche Diskussionen
im Aufbauthread führen.

Helge und einige andere:
Falsche Bauteilgröße im Beutel/Bag No. 5:
8 x 1µF in 0603 wurden als 0805 und 1206 beigelegt und somit so gut wie nicht einlötbar.

from Sławek:
R2, R6, R7, R10-12,R15, R25, R40 have 0603 footprint in BOM but on PCB we have 0805.
I cannot find the C100 on the schematics (0603 capacitor on the board near the C62)
Hinweis vom Klaus: C100 ist im Schaltplan eingezeichnet, 100nF Abblock-C an dem Taster S19 . Im Schaltplan ist er nur als C1OO (Buchstabe O) gekennzeichnet

eigenartige Mini-USB-B Buchse in Beutel/Bag No. 2 -> da passt kein Stecker rein
die Mini-USB-B Buchse vom V1.7 Kit hingegen ist in Ordnung.

C91 und C92 laut BOM 0603, aber als 0805 geliefert.

die LEDs die dem Kit beiliegen sind besonders hell - eigentlich zu hell

ich habe das gleiche Problem mit der USB_B-Buchse wie François. Keiner meiner USB-B-Stecker passt. Muss ich sie wohl oder übel nochmal auslöten.  Oder gibt es da noch ein spezielles Kabel?

danke, hab es oben eingetragen. Meine passt auch nicht, bzw. nimmt den bisherigen Stecker nicht auf, obwohl optisch passend.
Laut Klaus: bei der nicht passenden USB Buchse dürfte es sich um die USB MINI-A Version handeln

Von Francois erwähnt, bei mir auch so:
Klinkenbuchsen J1, J2, J3 - Plasikführungsnasen der Buchsen passen nicht in Löcher des PCB (Führungsnasen sind längs des Gehäuses, PCB Löcher quer)
Die in BOM erwähnten Lumberg 1703 05 würden lt. Zeichnung in die PCB passen.
Packliste & Bauteile-Tütchen 6 enthält 62 x 100 nF, BOM hat 61 x 100 nF, Schaltbild hat 61 x 100 nF.

Hello Friends,
I did some digging about the 3,5mm jacks and USB socket, here is the status.
DFU USB socket
As Klaus mentioned, the socket is a Mini-A, not a Mini-B.
Because the Mini-B is widely used in this kind of use (mcHF, R-Pi, STM eval board, etc.), it is recommandable to swap the socket to the correct one (eg. Amphenol 10033526-N3212MLF). It is the same pattern so it fit perfectly. If you do prefer to manage yet another kind of USB cable in your home, it will work too.
3,5mm socket
The pattern on the pcb is for the 3,5mm socket Pro Signal MX-345GLB not for for MX-387GL (cf. image). We are facing two problems here :
- the two plastic setting fingers has to be cut because in the wrong position, not good for a mechanical device.
- the position of the pins is slightly different, and do not fit exactly in the pcb.
This won't be a big deal if a source for the MX-345GLB could be found as this part seems widely unavailable (Farnell, Mouser, RS, eBay, ...), I couldn't find a source yet. If someone does find a source, please share

I have cut all USB sockets from one reel and they are all USB Mini-B.

Had the same issue as Francois.
I just come from my local distributor and fetched a MiniUSB Tpe B socket (Bürklin 72F2280).
This is a Mini-USB Type B socket, data here:

Fact is the Buerklin socket and the socket originally delivered are physically different connectors. If in doubt have a look at Francois' photos
So if the Buerklin is a Type B then the delivered one can't be.
The Buerklin socket fits the USB cable for STM-link and all other Mini USB cables I have, so all is well now.
Just wanted to mention in case this helps, otherwise please ignore.

Ich habe die falsche Buchse leider schon eingelötet. Jetzt brauche ich einen Tipp. Wie lötet man so etwas wieder raus  Ich habe leider keine Heißluftstation.

Jau, hier bei mir auch die "falsche" USB-Buchse. Mal schauen, was ich noch so in der Grabbelkiste hab, wird sich schon was finden. Aber da sollte Andreas bei zukünftigen Sets vielleicht noch mal was dran ändern..
